St John Ambulance to offer prescription delivery service

Tue, 24 Mar 2020

St John Ambulance has announced it is to work with pharmacists Island-wide, to provide a new prescription delivery service for those in need.

Volunteer Community First Responder duties have also been stepped up in readiness for any additional support the Isle of Man Ambulance Service may require, with the additional provision of a front-line ambulance when required.

From Monday 30th March, there will be a temporary freeze on scheduled ‘public’ courses.  Those who have booked a place, will be able to transfer to another course, later in the year.

The new prescription delivery service will commence on Wednesday 1st April 2020. Anyone in need of this service should contact St John Ambulance Headquarters on (01624) 674387.
