Port Erin Commissioners will reveal plans for the Cosy Nook cafe next week.

The local authority has been working on a ‘long-term’ redevelopment of the site since the previous tenant left in May last year.

At that time, an architect was invited to draw up designs for the old stone building, with the commissioners wanting any future cafe to open ‘all year round’.

It’s understood that sustainable energy, equality legislation and flood risk have all been considered as part of the plans.

They’ll be available to view at the commissioners’ offices following a board meeting next Tuesday.
