Fri, 28 Feb 2020

Port Erin Coastguard was called out to help a woman who injured her ankle on Wednesday.

The team were sent to Milner's Tower on Bradda Head at 10:45am.

They stabilised the woman's ankle with a vacuum splint - a device like a small vacuum mattress that is used as a temporary splint in emergencies.

The team carried the woman down to an ambulance that was waiting nearby.
