Damaged caused to cars in Castletown

Police are appealing for witnesses after thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused to cars in Castletown.

Six vehicles were targeted in Westhill Avenue between 8pm on Wednesday 12th February and 6am the following morning.

Officers estimate the damage will cost up to £2000 for the car owners.

PC Adam Cubbon said; “This kind of damage is both distressing and frustrating to the owners of the vehicles and will be at a considerable cost for them to have the vehicles repaired. Criminal damage at this level will result in prosecution and enquiries to apprehend offenders are continuing”.
