IOM Bank customers asked to watch out for text scam

Isle of Man Bank is asking its customers to report and ignore a text message claiming to be from the business.

 

In the text message, the customer is asked to call a Fraud Prevention number to confirm payment of £578 for an Air BnB transaction.

 

People who receive the text should not click or call the number provided in the message, or reply to the text, and forward the message to 07860 009378 (From abroad +44 7860 009378).
