Two Yellow Weather Warnings are in place from this evening until tomorrow.

A warning for Icy Patches and Wintry Showers has been issued from now until 3pm tomorrow, which will move through fairly quickly on the strong to gale force westerly wind, with some slight accumulations possible over the hills, and just a risk of some temporary slushy showers at lower levels.

Road surfaces temperatures on higher ground are also expected to remain close to or slightly below freezing tonight, giving a further risk of icy patches forming on untreated surfaces which become damp or wet from any showers, mainly on ground above 500 ft.

A warning for Coastal Overtopping is also in place from 11pm until 3am - large waves leading to coastal overtopping of sea water and debris are expected onto exposed coastal roads and proms around 1am

The areas most at risk will be central to northern Peel Prom, Fenella Beach in Peel, and the eastern end of Shore Road, Rushen.
