Ben-my-Chree turns back due to dense fog in Heysham

The Ben my Chree has had to turn back from trying to dock in Heysham Port due to dense fog.

It was due to arrive at 12:21 pm, but the vessel was unable to berth.

The Steam Packet Company has stated that due to tidal restrictions at the port after 2:30 pm, the Master of the vessel had no alternative but to return to Douglas.

The Ben my Chree is estimated to arrive into Douglas at 5:30 pm.
