Isle of Man Woodland Trust saw more new faces at their tree planting session in Sulby this weekend.

275 trees were planted in Sulby Glen on Sunday, including Hazel, Birch, Oak and Pine.

The charity was pleased to see so many new people braving the January cold, with more than 30 people in attendance.

In a Facebook post, IOM Woodland Trust said: 'With so many helping hands it took us little more than two hours to get all the saplings planted, even though there were steep slopes in some places.'

There will be another session on Sunday 2nd of February in Rushen to begin planting 1,500 trees.
