Did you witness Mountain Road collision?

Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident on the Mountain Road.

It happened on Saturday 4th January at around 12:15pm near to the Ballacottier Road junction.

A white coloured van travelling towards Ramsey along the Mountain Road made brief contact with a black coloured Mercedes motor vehicle, which had been travelling in the opposite carriageway.

The contact between the vehicles resulted in damage being caused to the offside wing mirror of the Mercedes, which has been completely destroyed as a result.

Unfortunately, the white van continued on its journey making no attempt to stop.
