Police reminder to register for Operator Licences before Feb 1st

Police have issued a reminder to register heavy goods vehicles before 1st February 2020 with The Road Traffic Licencing Committee.
 
All goods vehicle operators that operate goods vehicles and semi-trailers with a maximum laden weight of over 3,500 kg must apply either for an Operator Registration or Operator Licence from the RTLC.
 
Registration is free if your application is submitted before this date.
 
Manx operators who operate within the Island only will be required to obtain an Operator Registration, and operators who operate here and overseas will be required to obtain an Operator Licence.
 
Police said that anyone who has not registered for an operations licence will be committing an offence.
 
Application forms are available on the RTLC website www.gov.im/rtlc, or by request to the RTLC office.
