Isle of Man Young Farmers have thanked emergency services and the public for supporting their Christmas parade.

On Friday evening 50 decorated tractors were seen driving around the Island, starting from Peel and onto Ramsey, Laxey, Onchan and finishing at the TT Grandstand.

Isle of Man Constabulary helped to ensure the convey was in check, and members of the public came to wave the tractors on around the Island.

The parade was held to raise money for mental health charity Isle Listen, and Manx Cancer Help.

IOM Young Farmers posted their thanks on social media saying: 'So many thank-yous we don’t know where to begin. We could not have done it without our amazing volunteers and helpers; along with Isle of Man Constabulary Roads Policing Unit for keeping our convoy moving.

'Seeing the faces on people as we drove past last night was something else, something that we as farmers take for granted! Thank you to everyone coming out to watch and waves us on!'
