Law student walking 10km for homelessness charity in Manchester

A law student from the Island will be taking on a 10km walk in Manchester in aid of those affected by homelessness.

26-year-old Katie Entwisle, who is studying Law and Business Management at the University of Law, is raising money by taking part in the 'Shelter Sleep Walk'.

Shelter supports those at risk of homelessness and bad housing across the UK.

She's launched a Just Giving page online and walking with others in Manchester city centre on Wednesday 11th December at 6pm, taking approximately three hours.

Katie told Energy FM that she wanted to take part because she sees homeless people every day and wanted to help everyone in some way, especially during the winter:
