IOM Police and Gov offering Cyber Monday safety advice

IOM Police and IOM Government are offering advice on Cyber Monday as part of a global crack-down on online shopping fraud.

Following last week's Black Friday sales, today will see online retailers offering reduced rates on items which are most popular for Christmas presents to boost their profits.

However some sites might be fraudulent, which IOM Police are offering advice.

Top tips include shopping from a secure computer/internet connection, using a trusted/well-known site, buying from a guest login and not rushing for deals.
