A Yellow Weather Warning for ice will be in place from 6pm tonight until tomorrow at 10am.
The area's most at risk are well-sheltered spots in central and western parts of the Island, as well as higher routes, mainly above and around 1,200ft.
The IOM MET Office have said there will be clear spells developing tonight with the north-easterly wind gradually falling light, allowing road surface temperatures to fall close to or slightly below freezing in places.
This will give a risk of ice forming on any untreated surfaces which remain wet or damp from earlier rain or seepage.
