170 trees planted across Island

Volunteers have planted more than 170 trees across the Island.

The planting organised by the Isle of Man Woodland Trust took place on Sunday.

Among the volunteers were the 5th Douglas Scout Group and the Filipino community.

The trust says oak, hazel, beech, lime, Pine, alder and holly trees that were planted will create a wildlife retreat in the years ahead.
