Inquest opened and adjourned into death of 96-year-old woman

The inquest into the death of a 96-year-old woman who died after a house fire in Douglas has opened and adjourned.
 
Today at Douglas Court House the Coroner of Inquests, Mrs Jayne Hughes announced at the inquest of Mrs Olive Muriel Renecle, that the cause of her death was smoke inhilation.
 
Inquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding how the fire started at Mrs Renacle's address at Fuchsia Lane, Douglas on 17th Nov.
 
The Coroner of Inquests passed on her sincere condolences to Mrs Renacle's family, before adjourning the inquest.
