Residents are being asked to take part in a public consultation on proposed changes to divorce legislation.
Daphne Caine MHK for Garff has launched the consultation, after seeking approval from Tynwald last year to present a Private Member's Bill by the House of Keys.
The draft Bill, entitled the 'Divorce, Dissolution and Separation (Isle of Man) Bill', aims to implement a simpler administrative process to obtain a divorce, dissolution of civil partnership or judicial separation in place of the detailed judicial scrutiny which is associated with the fault-based process currently used on the Island.
Similar legislation is being progresed in England and Wales.
