Police seeking witnesses to serious RTC in Santon

The Roads Policing Unit are investigating a serious road traffic collision in which a 19-year-old girl was killed.

It occurred on the A5, Douglas to Castletown Road at around 10:30pm on Friday.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision, that occurred to the south side of the Santon Motel, and the road was closed for several hours whilst officers undertook an examination of the scene.

19-year-old Katie Robley died as result of her injuries.

Katie's boyfriend, Jay Waters, remains in a stable but critical condition in hospital.

The Roads Policing Unit Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash, and whom have not already given their details to the Police, to come forward to assist with the investigation by contacting Police Headquarters on 631212.
