'No clear rationale' for DEFA registering Ramsey warehouse, says MHK

An MHK has said DEFA's reason for registering a protected warehouse in Ramsey had 'no clear rationale'.

Lawrie Hooper MHK believes the Deparment needs to address major issues with the process of registering premises, after the old Farmer's Combine warehouse at Ramsey Harbour's protected status was lifted.

Planning permission was approved to replace the warehouse with a multi-million office development by the owner of the Ramsey Park Hotel, Trevor Hemmings.

Mr Hooper told Energy FM that the lengthy process to get the status lifted highlights concerns:
