A major refurbishment has taken place in South Quay, Douglas for a 67-space car park.
The Arches Car Park was bought by Tevir Group as part of their refurbishment of 55 Athol Street, which was previously the home of Zurich International.
Tevir Group has also purchased the Castle Mona Hotel site.
Managing Director Ciaran Doherty said: ‘55 Athol Street represents a significant investment by Tevir Group into Douglas’s built infrastructure, so we wanted to ensure that those staff of our tenants who need to travel into work by car had easy access to parking within a short walk of the property.
‘We are also keen to support tenants’ staff in the uptake of low carbon transport. With an increase in the use of electric vehicles anticipated in the next few years, 6 Electric Vehicle (‘EV’) charging points have been installed in the bottom level of the car park. We believe that this represents the largest concentration of EV charging points within a privately owned car park in the Isle of Man to date.’
