Princess Royal arrives on the Island

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal has arrived on the Isle of Man.

This morning at Market Hall in Douglas, the Princess Royal met with The Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney, Chief Minister Howard Quayle MHK, the owner of Bikestyle, Mr Gavin Quayle, and Noa Bakehouse owners Miles and Pippa Pettit. 

An official plaque to mark the Market Hall's opening was unveiled, with numerous others in attendance such as Manx Olympic gold medal cyclist Peter Kennaugh MBE.

Her Royal Highness will spend the rest of the day in Ramsey and Peel, to open the Ramsey Park Hotel extension and Peel Harbour Bridge, where plaques will also be unveiled.
