Production company wrap-up debut fictional movie and release documentary

A Manx production company have completed filming their first fictional movie and released a documentary online.

Dark Avenue Film, made-up of Bethany White and Patrick Crellin, filmed 'The Lost Wife', a short film based on Manx author Sophia Morrison's short story, 'The Lost Wife of Ballaleece'.

They began planning the film over a year ago and preparation took place this year, with help from Culture Vannin, IOM Arts Council and Smeale Farm.

Since moving to the Island permanently after graduating last summer, they have set up the production company full-time.

They have also just released 'Mera: A Short Documentary' about local musician Mera Royle, who produced the score for 'The Lost Wife'.

Speaking to Energy FM, Bethany and Patrick explained more about both projects and what it's like working together on-Island:
