Mountain Road 'bump' review ongoing

The Department of Infrastructure have sought help from a specialist company to survey the large bump which appeared on a section of the Mountain Road last week.

Drivers were advised of the road defect by Police, which appeared under the road surface on the Ramsey bound carriageway on the Hilberry section.

The DOI said the results are under review this week with a scheme for roadworks being decided.

It's anticipated a team will be able to start works from next Monday 28th October.

The temporary traffic lights at the site will remain in place until works are completed.
