IoM BBC political reporter to be recruited

The Minister for Policy and Reform Chris Thomas MHK has said the BBC will hire a political reporter for the Island.

 

In yesterday's Tynwald Parliament sitting he answered questions raised by other politicians about what the broadcaster aims to do to improve overall coverage.

 

Minister Thomas explained how he had discussed with the BBC's Director of England, Helen Thomas, about recruiting another political reporter on-Island and that there would be a series of further meetings over the next 12 months.
