The October sitting of Tynwald Parliament will take place later this morning.
Politicians will sit in Tynwald Court in Douglas at 10:30am to discuss numerous topics, including licensing of tobacco products for medicinal use, Isle of Man Post Office, the Steam Packet Company financing, the Douglas Promenade scheme, rate modernisation, the BBC and Manx Radio.
Acts to be reviewed include the European Union and Trade Act, European Communities Act 1973, Licensing Act 1995, Social Security Act 2000 and Road Traffic Act 1995.
Proposals are being put forward by Legislative Council members Ann Corlett regarding the number of elected members of the Legislative Council be reduced from eight to six and Kerry Sharpe about public service media.
