DOI issue emergency parking suspension on New Road, Laxey

The Department of Infrastructure are giving residents notice of the suspension of parking on New Road, Laxey.

 

Between 9am and 3pm tomorrow there will be an emergency suspension in place, with parking prohibited between a point adjeacent to the tram crossing near The Mines Tavern and the adjacent point on Rencell Hill/Queens Hotel.

 

It's being done to allow the DOI to access the roadside gullies and drainage system, so that essential drainage works can be carried out following the recent flooding.

 

The area will be marked with police cones.
