The National Sports Centre main pool is now fully operational.
IOM Government made the announcement that the pool, which has 8 lanes, provides public sessions, school classes and competitions.
The boom used to divide the fixed depth floor from the movable floating pool floor, used to not have the ability to be lowered since reopening in August - due to a fault.
Dutch engineers involved in the installation arrived on Wednesday, working through the night on Thursday and for a short period on Friday morning to undertake the repairs and necessary testing.
Minister for Education, Sport and Culture Graham Cregeen MHK said: ‘The full operation of the refurbished main pool as a high standard competitive facility has now been realised. Our Island’s award winning swimmers will now be able to gain full access to the main pool for training and galas.'
Public session timetables are available online.
