Primary school pupils will learn about the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals as a result of a gift from UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man.

The SDG Book Club has been launched this year, across the United Nations, to encourage children aged six to 12 to learn more about the Global Goals.

The books, which are selected by a worldwide panel each month, for 17 months, will enable the children to explore each topic more widely.

UNESCO Biosphere IOM is providing a set of books for each primary school, building a Global Goals library.

Schools are also encouraged to engage in the other learning activities that the SDG Book Club offers.
