Booby Bear IOM Breast Cancer event postponed

A charity run which was due to run tomorrow has been postponed until Saturday 26th October due to weather conditions.

Booby Bear's Fun Run, which is in aid of Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, was meant to take place at Mooragh Park, Ramsey.

Sponsored by Dandara, the event will take place in two weeks at an earlier time of 4.30pm.

Event Organiser and one of the founders of Manx Breast Cancer Support Group Julie Stokes explained: ‘It is real shame we have to postpone this weekend’s event but it is absolutely the best and the right decision to make. It will now fall on our annual Isle of Woman Pink Weekend, where we’ll have lots of other fundraising fun and events going in on so it is all fitting together nicely!'

Check-in on the 26th October will open from 3.30pm at the charity’s pink gazebo, stationed at Ramsey Rugby Club car park.
