Emergency services are continuing to battle the elements in Laxey which has been severely flooded.
Water rescue teams and the coastguard have rescued several people including a group of elderly people.
Glen Road between the upper and lower bridges has flooded severely and water levels are continuing to rise with more heavy rain forecast.
Several vehicles and trees have been washed away.
The church hall at the rear of Laxey Co-Op has been opened for people to shelter.
