Applications open to become firefighter

The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service are holding a ‘Come and Try It’ days this month to recruit firefighters for stations across the Island.

The only session is Thursday 17th October at Douglas Fire Station at 6:15pm until 8pm - tonight's was cancelled.

The evening will involve physical activity exercises involved in the recruitment process, such as hose running, speed tests and breathing apparatus.

IOM Fire and Rescue are recruiting for Wholetime and Retained Firefighters at Douglas, Laxey, Ramsey, Kirk Michael, Peel and Rushen fire stations.
