Fire and ambulance crews attend to single RTC in Onchan

Emergency services teams have attended to a single vehicle road traffic collision in Onchan.

Yesterday afternoon the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Servcie received reports of a person trapped in their car in Hillberry.

Once crews assessed the situation with the IOM Ambulance Paramedics on scene, they safely removed the driver from the vehicle, which was badly damaged.

The person's injuries are not thought to be serious.

Crews remained in attendance for approximately 20 minutes to assist with making the scene safe.
