Entries close at noon tomorrow for the annual Isle of Man Cycle Challenge.
More than 150 riders are taking part this Sunday on the TT Mountain Course, and will enjoy a closed road on the mountain section from Ramsey to the Creg ny Baa with a timed climb up to Mountain Box.
Among the cyclists will be Mark Howard who is a hand cyclist and returning for his fourth year to raise funds for The Bridge for Heroes, a charity which helps injured army veterans.
Also taking part is Ryan Kneale from Onchan, who is riding one lap despite suffering from arthritis of the spine.
The event organisers are still looking for marshals to ensure the cyclists’ safety around the course, with training provided, an ID card, and will have their expenses covered.
Anyone interested in getting involved should contact Laura on 07939 953 395 or laura@greenrock.co.uk.
The Cycle Challenge starts at the TT Grandstand at 8.30am and will finish at 5pm.
