TT Grandstand upgrade talks ongoing

The Department of Enterprise are in negotiations with architects and designers for upgrading the TT Grandstand.

In a statement thet say that DfE is in the early stages of developing a project to replace the existing lot, paddock infrastructure and amenities.

A new Grandstand building will sit over the current one with possible additional land towards Dukes Avenue and existing parc-ferme.

The Department states: ‘As any work on the site will have to be carried out around the TT and Festival of Motorcycling the project requires a significant amount of design and planning work, along with consultation with the landowner, residents and other authorities. As such we cannot confirm a timeframe for the commencement of the work or completion.’
