A petition calling for the Island's Government to introduce car tax payment options has reached over 1,600 signatures.
James Maguire began the petition yesterday online, stating: 'There are a lot of people on the Isle of Man that find it difficult to pay the lump sum demanded at the time road tax is due, payment options being introduced for vehicle licensing is well over due and the island is decades behind the uk now.'
The campaigner is hoping to get 2,500 signatures to bring the petition before Tynwald.
So far, there are over 1,630.
