Peel Coastguard were called out to rescue to a dog yesterday afternoon.
The team recieved a report of a dog going over the cliffs and the owner possibly in danger near the queenie dump on the back of Peel hill.
Port Erin coastguard were also brought in to assist with the search of the cliffs for the dog in what were difficult weather conditions.
During the search information was received that a dog matching the description had been located safe and well in Peel.
The coastguard is reminding dog owners to keep their dogs on a lead when walking near cliffs.
In emergency call 999 and ask for the coastguard.
