Yellow weather warning issued by MET Office

A Yellow Weather Warning has been issued by Ronaldsway MET Office from 3pm until 11pm.

Details published on the Isle of Man Government website indicate that winds are expected from the west, with veering northwest winds increasing to gale force in places around the Island.

Gusts of up to 55 mph are expected, possibly up to 60 later this evening. 

Residents should expect some minor damage to objects and buildings, with the gusts expected to ease steadily throughout tonight.
