Peel and Port Erin Fire crews called to mini digger incident

Emergency services in the West of the Island have rescued a person who became trapped in a mini digger yesterday afternoon.

Fire crews from Peel and Port Erin worked together to remove the person under the vehicle, which had rolled.

The occupant was checked for injuries by ambulance staff before fire crew used equipment to release them safely.

Crews were in attendance for approximately 30 minutes.
