A rider who was suffered serious injuries during a collision at TT 2018 has been told any compensation claim must be heard in the Isle of Man.
Steve Mercer suffered multiple injuries, including back, leg and pelvis fractures, when he was hit by a course car in practice week last year.
An application submitted by ACU to hear the claim on the Island was approved by Deemster Alan Gough.
Mr Mercer who lives in Kent had requested the case be tried in England.
The ACU has admitted liability over the TT incident that left the 37 year old with life-changing injuries.
Mr Mercer had wanted any such claim to be heard in England, where he feels he'd have a better chance of getting more compensation.
