Emergency repairs to be carried out on A1 at Glen Darragh ttonight

Motorists are being warned the A1 at Glen Darragh will have a part-closure this evening for emergency repairs.

Highways teams will conduct emergency repairs to the Douglas bound carriageway of the Peel to Douglas Road (A1) road.

Work will commence at 6.30pm and will continue until no later than 10.30pm. Traffic will be reduced to a single carriageway and be controlled by stop/go boards.

This work and its timing has been sanctioned after consultation and agreement with the organisers of the Festival of Motorcycling.
