Injured dog walker airlifted to hospital

A dog walker has been airlifted to hospital after suffering a fall at one of the Island's plantations.

Emergency services were called to the Ballaugh Plantation yesterday afternoon.

A group of bikers helped with the evacuation over rough ground to Douglas Coastguard's 4x4 vehicle.

The casualty was flown to hospital by airmed.
