Man arrested and firearm seized

Police responded to reports of a person having a near miss from a firearm earlier.

Isle of Man Constabulary says the firearms unit were deployed earlier following a report that gunshots had nearly struck the caller.

Officers located a male on foot and made an arrested. A bolt action firearm was seized at the scene.
