Rider in stable condition

A rider who was taken to hospital last night is in a stable condition.

Mark Herbertson was injured in an incident at the Black Hut during last night’s Classic TT Superbike qualifying session.

He was taken by airmed to Nobles Hospital where his condition was described as stable and he is awaiting surgery on a leg injury.
