MHK to question ITV prison documentary

An MHK will question how much the Manx government has been paid by ITV for a documentary about the Island's prison.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask the Chief Minister in written response during next week's Tynwald sitting.

He will also question whether the documentary was discussed beforehand by the Council of Ministers and if further episodes of the series can be blocked from being aired.

The Best Little Prison in Britain focuses on the daily lives of several prisoners and their relationships at the Isle of Man Prison in Jurby.
