Inflation rate rises to 2.1% for July

The inflation rate on the Isle of Man rose last month.

Government figures show the Consumer Prices Index increased in July to 2.1%, up from 1.8% in June.

The most significant drivers of inflation for last month are Recreation and culture costs, Education costs and Transport costs.
 
Within Recreation and culture, the largest contributor to the increase in inflation is Subscription to internet which has increased by 12.5% compared to last year.
