Royal Manx Show organisers thank the public

Organisers of the Royal Manx Show have thanked people for their support after one day of the event had to be cancelled.

The show was only held on Saturday after Friday was called off because of bad weather.

Officials used social media to thank the public, visitors and exhibitors for their efforts in making the one day event go ahead.

No vehicles were allowed on to the show field because of the wet conditions, but help was provided for those carrying stock to their stands.
