Ambitious plans revealed for Douglas Bay

Architects have published plans on social media for a major overhaul of Douglas bay.

The company says the scheme could be an entirely privately funded commercial development.

Ellis Brown suggests creating of a new cruise ship berth capable of taking the ’largest ships possible’.

There are also plans for a new lagoon permanently filled with water for leisure craft.
