Seal stuck in plastic hoop

Manx Wildlife Trust was called out to reports of a seal with a plastic hoop stuck around its neck.

The marine officer was unable to catch the seal during the call out on Monday evening.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "This is the fourth report of seals entangled in this way in 3 months."

Residents are being urged to dispose of waste carefully.
