Firefighters were called to a property in Peel on Saturday after the occupant reported not feeling well and the carbon monoxide detector was operating.
The police and ambulance were also called to the incident in Shore Road.
Crews were able to isolate the gas supply to the boiler and vented the property.
The fire service are reminding residents of the importance of having gas appliances regularly serviced and having a carbon monoxide detector for both gas appliances and solid fuel burning fires.
