Hedge cutting on Mountain Road

Parts of the Mountain Road will be closed on two consecutive days next month to enable highways workers to undertake hedge and verge cutting ahead of the Festival of Motorcycling.

Officials from the Department of Infrastructure have said the section from Ramsey to the Bungalow will close on Wednesday 7 August followed by the section from the Bungalow to Creg-ny-Baa on Thursday 8 August.

The road will be closed to motorists from 9.30am to 4pm.
